Author Talk with Guy Tal

From the event description on Zoom:

As a solider, a teacher, and a technologist, Guy Tal felt dissatisfied and unfulfilled. In his own words, “I knew well the feeling that my life was wasting away, that I had no purpose, that my creative and adventurous spirit was being crushed, a little bit at a time—that I was doomed to be a ‘wage slave’ for the rest of my days.”

But that’s not what happened.

After leaving the urban, career-driven life, Guy decided to live in a small and remote desert town, hoping for a more meaningful and nature-inspired life, and determined to make a living by photography and writing.

Hear more of his inspirational stories and life learnings during this special 60-minute online conversation with Guy on Sunday, March 27 at 4 pm MDT (which is 3 pm Pacific, 5 pm Central, and 6 pm Eastern times). Yours truly, I, will serve as the moderator for what is sure to be an insightful discussion.

Join us to:

  • Hear what inspired Guy to create his newest book, Another Day Not Wasted: Meditations on Photography, Art, and Wildness
  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at how the book came together
  • Experience a reading by Guy from one of his essays

We’ll entertain questions from the audience—from you!—as well.

PLUS! We’ll be raffling off a copy of Guy’s Another Day Not Wasted book and eBook—you must be present at the live show at the time of the raffle in order to win.

Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the webinar login credentials. You’ll receive a reminder email 1 day and 1 hour before the webinar begins which will include the login credentials.

(IMPORTANT! Please ensure your email address is typed correctly when you register since it’s our only way to communicate with you.)

This discussion will be recorded. Those who register will receive a link to the recording approximately 24 hours after the event to use as a reference later.

“See” you on March 27!
